URA-AFT President Responds to Washington Post Opinion Piece on the Employee Free Choice Act
AFL-CIO NOW Blog: In a case of classic doublespeak, former Bush administration adviser Lawrence Lindsey recently wrote an op-ed piece in The Washington Post, saying the best way to protect workers’ freedom to form unions is to kill the Employee Free Choice Act. Lucye Millerand, who last year formed a union with her co-workers at Rutgers University under a New Jersey law that mirrors the Employee Free Choice Act, sets Lindsey straight on real workers’ rights.
